I just installed the Microsoft Office Update and the plugin doesnt work. I already told the Mendeley Support team. For now you can right click on Microsoft Word in the Applications folder and (edit: Then choose 'Get Info', then) 'Open using. The Mendeley Word plugin uses a plugin to format in-text citations and reference lists in MS Word. bib, that is separate from the LaTeX source file. Each reference in the bibliography file is formatted with a certain structure and is given a "key" by which the author can refer to it in the source file.
The functionality of this plugin is limited, but it is simple and easy to use. Mendeley Cite Mendeley Cite is a new citation tool for inserting citations into Word documents.
